Lufkin Women’s Center offers BOTOX® injection treatment for TMJ, chronic migraines, tension headaches, and facial pain.
BOTOX® is widely used to reduce wrinkles, but it can also be a powerful solution for pain relief. BOTOX® injections can target specific muscle groups and nerve signals, which can reduce the frequency and intensity of migraines, significantly increase mouth movement and reduce pain for those suffering from TMJ, and block facial pains at their trigger points.
BOTOX® is a purified neurotoxin that inhibits muscle contraction, reduces inflammation, and modulates pain signals. It is an effective way to relax overactive muscles, which can improve circulation and reduce inflammation, and may interrupt the pain feedback loop between tight muscles and the central nervous system.
